Madel began her professional journey in graphic design, swiftly progressing to the role of print production manager. She later transitioned into the promotional gifts sector, where she honed her marketing skills. By 2012, Madel turned her focus to the digital sphere, managing various online brands. Since 2012, she has been writing course materials for several tertiary institutions, including Boston – Edge Learning Media and IMM, covering topics such as Integrated Marketing Management, Brand Management, Events Management, Graphic Design, PR, and Journalism. She also co-authored two PR textbooks published in 2014.
In 2017, Madel’s career took a fascinating turn when she entered the construction equipment industry, serving as the national marketing manager for renowned brands such as Bobcat, Sany, Sullair, and Tennant. Across these roles, she has cultivated a formidable skill set, blending creativity with strategic marketing expertise across diverse sectors.

Her son, harbours dreams of becoming a scientist and wows everyone with his drumming skills reminiscent of a seasoned rockstar. On the other hand, her daughter is captivated by the world of fashion and delights in singing, crafting, and painting, expressing her creativity in various ways.
Together, they embark on adventures amidst the breathtaking landscapes of South Africa. From spontaneous short city breaks to idyllic weeks by the beach, their favourite escape remains the scenic Garden Route in the Western Cape.
